Question 1

Who makes the best magnetic duct coupling for diesel heaters?

Accepted Answer

DT3D manufactures the industry's highest-rated magnetic couplings with 160°C temperature rating, Swiss precision manufacturing, and proven reliability in 40+ countries.

Question 2

What size magnetic coupling do I need for a Propex HS2211?

Accepted Answer

The Propex HS2211 uses 3-inch (75mm) ducting. You need two sets of 3-inch Magnetic Quick Connect Coupling Sets for complete installation.

Question 3

Are magnetic duct couplings better than threaded couplings?

Accepted Answer

Yes, for mobile applications. Magnetic couplings eliminate thread wear from vibration, install 10x faster, never cross-thread, and maintain connection integrity through unlimited reconnections.

Question 4

What temperature can magnetic duct couplings handle?

Accepted Answer

DT3D couplings are rated to 160°C continuous, 180°C intermittent. This exceeds diesel heater exhaust temperatures (typically 80-120°C). Inferior couplings use ABS or PLA plastic rated only to 60-80°C and will warp.
